CARL POIRIER R.G.D.
Creative Director
Carl has played a leadership role in Ottawa's graphic design community since the mid 90's.
His experience has propelled Cayenne to it's recent success recognized by PROFIT 50 magazine, ranking 17th in Canada's Top Emerging Growth Companies.
In 1998, Carl was nominated by La Cité collégiale for the prestigious Premier's Award for outstanding career achievements and community contribution in the province. In addition to having taught part-time at Algonquin College in the graphic design program, he is an active member of both the Algonquin College and La Cité collégiale's consultation committee to help better prepare students for the workforce. Carl has been an active part of the Tumblers Gymnastics Centre's Board of Directors to help with their communication needs.
When not working or playing hockey, Carl loves spending time at home with his wife, Natalie, and their three beautiful daughters.
Tamiko joined Cayenne Creative in 2011. Originally from Montreal, she holds two bachelor degrees (Sociology and Criminology) and is a long time entrepreneur in the graphics industry. Her background includes owning and operating a photo finishing business as well as managing a print brokerage. Tamiko's strength rests in her forethought and organizational skills. As the hub of information flow for every project, she thrives on efficiency and effectiveness for both Cayenne's clients and the Creative team. This, along with her experience in the industry, makes Tamiko a welcome and invaluable asset to the team. Tamiko and her husband Corey are the proud parents of three teens and spend much of their spare time on Ontario and Quebec volleyball courts.
Susan has been a part of the team since Cayenne's early years. In 2005, she graduated with honors from the Graphic Design program at Algonquin College. Her natural gift for design, illustration and project management have become great assets to the company and has helped build her successful career as a graphic designer.
By infusing her positive attitude into the studio, Susan does not let anyone have a bad day. She actively volunteers her talents at her home church in music and, along with her husband Jesse, leads the Media and Publications Ministry there.
Karine has just recently joined Cayenne's team. Fresh out of school, she graduated with honours from La Cité Collégiale's Graphic Design program in June 2011. Armed with a lifelong passion for arts, drawing and illustration, and a love of print design and branding, she is eager to tackle any creative challenge that comes her way. Outside of work, Karine loves spending time outdoors at her family's small farm, riding and caring for her two horses.
Susana is the Web design specialist - striving for beauty and functionality in every web piece.
She has been part of Cayenne Creative since early 2010.
Her creativity, great eye for design and knowledge of the web make her a great part of the team.
She loves to spend her free time learning about different cultures, finding great food and enjoying the company of her wonderful son.
